 400ci COME Racing alloy engine #2
Built for a customer for Bracket racing in a 2500lb car, the 2nd COME alloy engine just rolled off the dyno.
This is a carburettored (single 4 barrel) engine with 13.4:1 compression ratio, a COME solid roller cam part # CSBR-140 ground on 112 lobe centres. Fully ported "Terminator" versions of the COME 2000 series alloy heads. Harrop single plane intake manifold and Holley 950 Pro series petrol carb running Shell 100 racing fuel.

Ignition is an MSD crank trigger fired by an MSD7AL-2 ignition box. Wet sump oiling with full box sump containing custom made mesh baffling and pickup.

Internals include a COME nodular cast 3.750" stroke internally balanced crankshaft, COME "H" beam 4340 steel conrods and custom made"Ross" forged racing pistons. Rollmaster timing chain set and Romac harmonic balancer.

Power output in the dyno room is 685 BHP @ 7250 rpm and 537 FT.LBS torque @ 5500 rpm.
8 second E.T's for this 2500lb car will be the end result and with a long life engine which is not overstressed.
